Edenred Finland is part of the international Edenred Group, founded in 1962, whose head office is located in Paris. Edenred offers centralized solutions for dining (meal benefits), rewards (gift cards and other engagement solutions), travel (multi-energy, maintenance, toll, parking and commuting solutions) and payment (virtual cards) - around the world. Our business is mainly based on mobile applications, online platforms and payment cards.

Edenred joins the Euronext CAC 40 ESG® index in September 2022

Edenred, the world leader in earmarked funds solutions, joined the Paris stock exchange’s Euronext CAC 40 ESG index, taking its place alongside other companies demonstrating outstanding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.

Edenred’s inclusion in the index is a recognition of the Group’s commitment to sustainable development. This commitment is embodied in its ambitious “Ideal” ESG policy, its portfolio of digital solutions enabling more responsible behaviors and its purpose, “Enrich connections. The Euronext CAC 40 ESG index brings together the 40 companies in the CAC Large 60 index with the best environmental, social, and governance practices, based on an independent assessment by Moody’s ESG Solutions.

Good deeds with the entire group

Our annual Idealday is dedicated to people, the environment, and sustainable development. All Edenred people around the world spend an entire working day working on a chosen charity.

In recent years, the people of Finland have been e.g. cleaning Töölönlahti of garbage and spending time with the elderly people.

When every meter matters

When it comes to a charity event, both the journey and the destination matter!

In our entire group's annual Edenraid competition, kilometers are collected by walking, running, and cycling individually, team-wise and country-wise, and most importantly, all together. After reaching our travel goal, we will make a donation to the organization 'Doctors without borders' (Médecins Sans Frontières). This way we feel and do well at the same time!

We support heroic acts

We support those who want to do good. Whether it's protecting the Baltic Sea by rowing across the Atlantic or donating to those in need, we want to be involved.

In recent years, charity and sponsorship targets have included, for example, Two Rowing Finns, SOS-Lapsikylä, AAMU Children's Cancer Foundation in Finland, and WWF Finland.

Plastic-free and virtual cards

Towards a more plastic-free world with virtual cards and normal payment cards! All our physical Edenred cards are now made from ecological and biodegradable PLA fiber obtained from corn waste.

Responsible choices

Sustainable development is present in our everyday life. We report our water, electricity, and paper consumption every month. We also strive to reduce our carbon footprint by sharing information about food waste and encouraging healthy choices.

EcoVadis

We have an EcoVadis -recognition of the silver level of corporate responsibility assessment (CSR Rating Silver). The recognition emphasizes our responsibility from the perspectives of environmental issues, labor and human rights, ethical practices, and sustainable procurement. In addition, we belong to the largest corporate responsibility network in the Nordics, FIBS.
